International Development Cooperation after the Sevilla Commitment

The Sevilla Commitment sets out a roadmap to reframe and
revitalise international development cooperation, including a
renewed development cooperation architecture at national and
global levels. FSDO is working with all relevant stakeholders -
governments, experts, civil society and other institutions - to work
toward implementing this renewed vision for effective development
cooperation.

To ensure continued progress on
development, the world needs a new
model for international engagement, a
clear agenda backed by sufficient
resources, and mechanisms for ensuring
coherence at a time of fragmentation. The
United Nations must be the fulcrum of
these efforts.

we could include at the bottom of the page a visual timeline of engagement opportunities that are relevant for IDC - details TBD but good to include a placeholder for this starting with FFD4, and including the WB/IMF Annual Meetings in Oct, then COP in November, then Spring Meetings of WB/IMF and FFD Forum in April and we can think about if/how to include more 'internal facing' opportunities in between these
We will review your submissions, feedbacks, and questions, and we might send emails for future events, inviting to submit a contribution to discuss the future of IDC
